The Jefferson Educational Society was created as a non-profit organization with the Pennsylvania Department of State on September 29, 2008 under Entity Number 3837986. On the same date, the Jefferson Educational Society was granted tax exempt status by the Federal Department of the Treasury under Employer Identification Number 26-3460486. Although the Jefferson Educational Society of Erie operates under a 501 (c) (3) educational non-profit charter, it does not offer either degrees or programs for formal academic credit.


ATTENTION TEACHERS: Participate in a program at the Jefferson and receive ACT 48 hours!
The following school districts accept ACT 48 hours from Jefferson programs: Corry School District, Erie School District, Erie Catholic Diocese, Erie Day School, Fort LeBoeuf School District, Girard School District, Harborcreek School District, and the Wattsburg Area School District.
If you would like to have your school district accept ACT 48 hours from the Jefferson, have an administrator call 814-459-8000.
